Learn More About Lucie!

Hi there,
I’m Lucie Levine. I’m a trained historian, widely published writer, professional guide, and proud New Yorker.
I’ve offered tours, lectures and courses on New York City History at Vassar, NYU, the New School, CUNY’s Gotham Center for New York City History, The New York Public Library, The Municipal Art Society, The American Institute of Architects, The Historic Districts Council, FRIENDS of the Upper East Side, and the New York City Department of Transportation, which has selected Archive on Parade as a Public Realm Programing Partner.
I build every Archive on Parade tour from the ground up, working as a historian, writer, urbanist and performer to shape original archival research into enthralling stories.
Join me on one of my unique walking tours, and you’ll spend roughly two hours following me en route through New York.
As we walk through the city, we’ll follow an exciting narrative that links one stop on the tour to the next, and you'll be able to ask questions at every stop along the way! Think of it as immersive, interactive theater - with footnotes!
